Sunday 18 March, 9am
Street photographer Charlie Kwai leads this unique photography workshop, teaching the group his personal take on street photography, and then leading a mission out into Brick Lane market to help you capture it in your own style. Charlie Kwai grew up in east London and became obsessed with documenting the city and the people that inhabit it, in projects such as Overtime, which exposes the harsh realities of city business men and their lifestyles. Heralded as ‘One to Watch’ by Its Nice That in 2016 and featuring at the popular Nicer Tuesday’s events, Charlie Kwai has built up a strong reputation as a front runner in his field and will share some of his photography tips and secrets with the group.
This class can be done with any type of camera, including a mobile phone camera, so please bring whatever you feel most comfortable shooting on and bring it fully charged. The class will meet at a table upstairs in Cafe1001 at 9am.
