Growing Indoors: For Food and Wellbeing
Saturday 30 June, 2pm
Join horticulturalist Hannah Schlotter, founder of the blog Hannah Grows, to learn how to make the most of growing plants indoors for food and wellbeing. Hannah will teach you how to grow herbs, salads, and ornamental plants with beneficial properties. Learn skills in seed sowing, transplanting, taking cuttings, and tips in how to keep your plants happy indoors. You will be able to take some plants away with you to get you started at home.
Hannah trained in Horticulture at Capel Manor College, and works at Growing Communities Dagenham Farm teaching people how to grow and cook as part of their Grown in Dagenham project. Hannah is also an Ambassador for Kew Garden’s Grow Wild Campaign to rejuvenate Britain’s wildflowers.
